Ordering

Our compounding pharmacy is open Mon-Friday 8:30am-4pm. When the compounding laboratory is closed, prescriptions may be left or collected from the Nova Compounding Pharmacy Forest hill during regular pharmacy hours. A compounding pharmacist is on duty and is available to answer any compounding enquiries.

If you are not in the local area, we are able to post your medications directly to you or to any nominated address throughout Australia.

HOW TO ORDER:

  • Present the prescription to our compounding pharmacy in Forest Hill.
  • Scripts can be emailed to novacompoundingpharmacy@gmail.com OR faxed on 03 9887 0952 OR YOU CAN text the prescription on 0401167272 .You must bring the original prescription when collecting the compounded medication. Our turn around preparation time for all compounded medications is up to 24 hours.
  • Scripts may also be dropped to any of our pharmacy provider stores as listed below. The compounded prescription will be prepared and sent back to the respective pharmacy. The pharmacy will advise you on the pickup time. Please allow up to 48 hours for delivery to your selected location.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

When ordering any compounded product please specify any special requirements as listed below:

  • Lactose Free Capsules-We use microcrystalline cellulose as our standard filler for most preparations however Vitamin C, corn starch, probiotic powder or rice powder are also available on special request. Additional charges may occur.
  • Vegetable Capsules -“Vege” capsules are available for those who choose not to ingest standard gelatin capsule
  • Flavouring – There are a large number of flavours to choose from
  • Cream Base – Our cream base avoids the use of all petroleum based ingredients including (paraffins), parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate, propylene glycol, fragrances, artificial colors, waxes and heavy oils
  • Cream Dispensers – Hormone creams are usually supplied in an airless pump jar which accurately dispenses ½ gram cream with each pump at no extra cost. These are accurate, convenient and easy to use. For those who do not use 0.5 or 1g doses we also supply creams in an EMP jar with a syringe.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

EXPRESS DELIVERY SERVICE –
We only supply orders within Australia unless our patients whom reside in Australia are on vacation overseas. A valid original copy of the prescription is required at the pharmacy before a compounded item can be shipped. .. To speed this process you may fax or email us a copy of your script so we can prepare it for you.

Any personal information collected by us will remain strictly confidential as per our privacy policy.

Terms & conditions 

  • Your doctor needs to provide you with personal information regarding your compounded medication.
  • No medication will be compounded for you until an original copy of your prescription has been received.
  • Please specify if you would like the pharmacy to hold repeats on file. So that when you start to run low of your medication you can reorder the next repeat by phone, or email.
  • Please specify any special requirements or allergies.
  • All orders will be delivered within two working days after confirmation of order and receipt of original prescription.

Payment Methods • The customer can pay by VISA, MASTER, AMEX or DINERS credit cards by providing the card details; • If payment is made by cheque or internet banking money-transfer, please allow up to three business days for payment to be processed. Once received delivery will be processed. Please make the cheque payable to “Nova Hawthorn Road Pharmacy Foresthill”

Additional charges • An express post envelope and handling fee of $10.00 will be charged for overnight delivery within Australia. For international delivery, charges will vary depending on the type of delivery for secured post. Customer may be liable for extra charges incurred if wrong address provided.

Compounded prescriptions are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
